Weatherbys Hamilton raises the flag in Sussex
Hot on the heels of our opening in Edinburgh our expansion continues with the establishment of a new office in West Sussex.
We are delighted to announce that Guy Baxter has joined us after a successful career in private client and farm & estate insurance with Aon and then Lycetts, and, like James Innes, is a natural fit with the other partners. Both are only in their late thirties and will help to ensure Weatherbys Hamiltonâs success long in to the future.
Our office in West Sussex is in the converted stables of Newbuildings Place, the home of Lord and Lady Lytton, a few miles east of Billingshurst and next door to Knepp Castle, the pioneering re-wilding estate. Although our Newmarket and Swindon offices are little more than two hours away, London and the M4 corridor form both a physical and psychological barrier to being regarded as local. We have long wanted to develop a stronger following in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire and the opportunity to do this from Billingshurst is ideal.
Our Sussex office complements our other six offices around the country and underpins our model of wanting to be as close to our clients as we can. We know that it makes a big difference to the service that we can offer if we are able to visit our clients easily and at short notice and puts us in a far better position to help them if we have seen what it is we are insuring. We are very optimistic about the future and excited at the opportunities that lie ahead.
