It is a term of their licence for a racehorse trainer to have public liability insurance and in the UK, employers' liability cover is required by law.
These insurances protect the racehorse trainer or stud owner against claims for negligence made against them, whether it is from a racehorse kicking a car or from a work rider suffering a career threatening injury. Many insurers shy away from these risks but we offer a specialist policy that is specifically designed for the bloodstock industry and its particular needs. Additionally we provide Care Custody and Control insurance for anyone who is responsible for a third party's horses.
